Power Operations

The power operations group manages Calpine's large fleet of 82 natural gas-fired and geothermal power plants, which have a capacity of nearly 24,000 megawatts. This group is responsible for the operations and asset management of Calpine’s plants, including daily dispatch decisions and systems optimization. Its attention to clean, reliable and low-cost operations enhances Calpine's competitiveness.
