Government Relations

Calpine’s Government Relations efforts involve developing public policy positions on a variety of issues, ranging from energy to environment to taxes.

The two main areas that the Government Relations staff focuses on are:

• Advocating for rules, regulations and laws that create a fair and competitive business environment
• Advocating for environmental regulations and laws that will encourage and provide incentives for clean forms of energies.
