Calpine is a proud Platinum Sponsor of Texas A&M University’s Trading, Risk & Investments Program (TRIP). Calpine has partnered with Texas A&M to provide hands on internships that prepare students for success in the field of energy trading, investments and risk management.
As a Platinum TRIP advisory board member, Calpine will annually provide four TRIP students paid internships. These interns are given the opportunity to explore the field of energy commodity trading, experience challenging assignments and form relationships with Calpine professionals. Through these internships, Calpine is identifying and training future leaders of the company. Calpine currently has four TRIP program alumni as full-time employees.
