Delaware City Energy Center

The Delaware City Energy Center is located in Delaware City, Delaware, and includes one combustion turbine – powered by low-sulfur diesel  – that has a total output of 23 MW.  The station began operation as a commercial unit in 1968. 

 Calpine acquired the facility in 2010 as part of its purchase of the Conectiv Energy assets.
