Hari Chandrasekaran is responsible for Calpine’s corporate and fleet IT functions with emphasis on delivering stable IT performance and positive user experiences, deploying solutions to streamline and automate business processes, and expanding the company’s use of data and emerging technologies to help improve operational, commercial and financial performance. He joined Calpine in June 2013 as Manager Commercial Information Systems and has held positions of increasing responsibility during his tenure. Prior to joining Calpine, he gained experience in energy trading IT solutions for BNP Paribas, Dynegy and Cinergy Corporation. He began his career as an IT developer and team lead in India, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Madras and a Master of Information Systems from Alagappa University.
