Agnews Power Plant

The Agnews Power Plant is a highly efficient natural gas-fired, combined-cycle facility located in San Jose, California.  The plant consists of one aero-derivative combustion turbine generator, one heat recovery steam generator and one steam turbine generator.  The Agnews plant utilizes recycled water for cooling from the City of San Jose.  Pacific Gas and Electric Company purchases the electricity it produces under a long-term power sales agreement.
